The RiDiverse allows RiD users to customize to the fullest their very own bot. Please note this bot does not enable you to interact with objects in the game-world (except bankers), but it can be used with any inventory item, and perform absolutely any interface/banking related training method you can imagine.
Need to clean some herbs? Have some logs you wanna cut up? Let the RiDiverse know, and off it will go. Before you Roam, however, there are some things everyone needs to learn.
Like other RiD bots, the normal features are there. However, there are two things you must know to use before you're ready to go: "Selecting Objects" and "Selecting Actions"
Having RS open, and your inventory ready you may "Scan" items that you have and want the bot to perform with. If you're making potions - you would have the Herb and the Water filled vial. Here is an example:
Having one of each item you need (and that will interact) is the cleanest and best way to 'scan' your items. Make sure any tools you are using (knife, needle, etc) are stored in your Toolbelt, and NOT your inventory! Below, one Willow Logs and one Willow Longbow (u) have been scanned so the bot knows they are there. You must then select the items to confirm. If you press confirm and it still says objects are not set, close RiD completely and try again:
The items are selected "In Order". The first item you click is 'Object 1', the second item is 'Object 2' and so on - they will be color coded so the bot shows how many different Items you have selected.
Once the items you need have been chosen, you may tell the bot what to 'Do' with the items. When you select 'Select Actions', this interface will show up. With this interface, you may select the 'steps' you need to do whatever it is you’re doing. Here is a list of the full 'actions' the bot is capable of:
With the Actions interface, you simply select the steps you would do to make an item. For example:
- Object 1: Willow Logs
- Object 2:Willow Longbow (u)
You would then take these steps:
- Withdraw: Object 1 - All >> Instructs the bot to withdraw a full inventory of Willow Logs
- Left-Click: Object 1 >> Instructs the bot to left-click the willow log
- Select Tool: 2 >> Instructs the bot to use the 2nd tool option (Knife) should the 'Choose a Tool' menu appear
- SkillMenu Start >> Instructs the bot to click the big blue bar in the skilling interface to start making the product
- Wait Until no more Object 1 >> Instructs the bot to wait until no more willow logs are in the inventory
- Deposit; Item: ALL; Quantity: All >> Instructs the bot to use the deposit all button in the bank to empty the entire inventory
The bot will then take these steps to make Willow Longbow (u), and then repeat.
Once you have selected both the Objects and Actions, you may Save the new task! - It will be selectable from the drop down menu of 'Training Methods' once saved! All saved presets can be found as .txt files in the Methods folder inside the RiD folder. To add a preset from another member, simply drag the preset's .txt file into the Methods folder!
Finally, if you plan to use a bank in your training method, you must be standing immediately next to a bank before you begin, and select the direction the banker (or bank booth/chest) is located - either North, South, East or West of where your player is standing. Now you are ready to hit 'start'!
The bot works best at Soul Wars, but most locations should work fine, especially since Jagex removed all Random Events!

- "My preset doesn't work" or "I gave it instructions and it didn't work!"
Solution: Try rescanning your items and remaking your preset. It's possible that somehow the Object is different, or even that you messed up in telling the bot 'what to do'. Jagex makes updates to the graphical appearance of many items randomly, so it is always a good idea to try remaking a preset should it start to act funky. If you take the time and scan objects and tell the bot the proper order to do things in, you'll be amazed at how quick, efficient and awesome it is to make your own bot!
- "So what does this thing do? Tl;dr soz"
It does anything at the bank you tell it to. If you want to mix potions, cut bows, make wines, superheat bars, et cetera, go right ahead! Scan the object, tell it what to do with the object, and your own custom-built bot is rolling. It is generally accepted that this bot can train Herblore, Fletching, Cooking, Smithing, Crafting, and Magic. It does not move away from a bank.
