I downloaded the bot, but how do I open it?
The download is a compressed archive (a 'rar' file), you need to decompress it to access the bot's files.
If you already have a 'rar extractor' on your operating system, all you need to do to access the bot's files is double-click. If you don't have one, Google 'rar extractor' and you are sure to find a program you can use for your operating system. For windows users we recommend winRAR, available free at http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Once you successfully extract the rar file, you should see the following files:
- jnativehook.jar
- RiD.jar
RiD.jar is the executable to run the bot, just double-click to start!
If double clicking doesn't work, make sure you have Java installed from here: http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
If you have Java installed, and double-clicking still doesn't work... right-click the executable, and select program to open with -> C:\Program Files\Java\jre8\bin\javaw.exe
That should be enough to fix it in most cases, but if not, try these further troubleshooting steps.

RiD, I can't see the 'Knowledgebase' under the 'Support' section.

It's in construction lol, will go on site shortly.

Oh I see lol.
I could make some guides there aswell to save you some time. Such as how to set Vista/Windows 7 to classic theme etc.

Yeah go for it, I don't think anyone has done one yet.
That would be very helpful.

Ok, sure thing. I'm just a little bit unsure where to actually post it. Here, or in the 'Guides', under the RuneScape section?
-
Bot related guides will make their way into this section, so post here. Thanks

So, my WinRAR apparently feels that .jar files are archives, how can I run it normally rather than simply opening the file in WinRAR?

right click, open with, java, on the bottom it should say always open with this program as default or something, check that box

I am an idiot retard that posts phishing websites.
