Genesis 2.26: Custom environments, plans, and the AI assistant beta
Released 2 November 2026
Our biggest update yet, and the first main release since 2.12: everything from the 2.13 to 2.25 betas in one go. Every bot gets a clearer editor, environments you can build and share for any game, plans for running bots in a row, and a warning before a run would give you away. The AI assistant is in here too, in beta for Ultimate and ViP members for now.
Bot Editor
- Version history: every bot keeps restore points, so any change - yours, calibration's or the assistant's - can be rolled back
- Add to Map extends a bot's map with new areas without breaking the bot, and Merge joins two zones that are really one place
- List view, Focus and Tidy for big bots: the actions as a searchable list with filters, one step and its neighbours on their own, or the graph laid out for you (with undo)
- A clearer graph: green arrows are the usual next step and blue ones are taken only when a condition holds; several ways between two steps (OR) draw as one striped arrow; badges mark a step with a timing warning, no default arrow, or two steps that could be one - and a Key explains them
- Easier editing: drag the middle of an action to move it and its outer ring to draw an arrow, Delete removes an arrow, and conditions are built from labelled rows with a plain-words comparison
- Load from bot: start a new bot as a copy of one you already have
- Aim... and Order...: choose where on a world item the bot aims, and which inventory slots or map tiles an item click takes, in what order
- Name your items with a right-click on the item strip; logs and charts then use the names. Genesis also suggests names for your pictures
- Spells, prayers and menu options are matched by their picture rather than their position
- Placeholder items let you build a bot around items you do not have yet and capture them later
- Define a world item with one click, with a live count of how many the bot can see
- Measured timing you change is reshaped rather than replaced, and can be restored
Environments
- Custom environments: build one for any game or private server from scratch - no official environment is needed
- Share them: publish an environment, keep it up to date, and install other people's from the new Environments tab; add-ons extend a published one and are shared in groups
- Your edits survive updates: your own additions live in a layer of their own and travel with the bots you share
- Window mode finds a game by the window it is drawn in, for clients whose interface can be moved and resized
- Anchor help: suggested anchors, alternative graphics, linked graphics and a stray-pixel allowance for corners with no unique graphic
- The environment editor, variable screen, font editor and world-item editor have a new look; a font learns its letters from text you type
- The bank's view of your inventory counts as the inventory while the bank is open
Running Bots
- Plans: bots and breaks in order, each with a range, a wait until a time of day, saved and reused - Start runs the plan
- Breaks and fatigue carry over when a session restarts; distractions and the odd long lapse now happen on the clock, not only on busy bots
- Warnings before you start: the Biometrics dashboard's red findings are shown beside Start, including bot time across every computer on your account
- Smarter timing: a step that waits for the game is timed from the finish with your own reaction; small items are aimed with size-aware floors and a click that knew it missed is clicked again
- More realistic mouse travel, lead-in moves, idle movement and chain clicks; map clicks always land on the map
- Much faster and more reliable text reading, and lower memory use
- Clear help when Genesis cannot find your game: display scaling, several monitors, colour depth or an enlarged window
- Run-once bots (a route to somewhere), a bot queue, and several bots at once: one on Free and Light, three on Heavy, six on Ultimate and ViP
Main Window
- My Bots opens first: your bots with their status, a card per bot with its action map, sharing and description, and the setup steps for an unfinished one
- Share tab with search and sort, download counts and session lengths; share links bring somebody straight to a bot, with extra trial hours for a new account
- Camera settings are kept per bot, with a picture of the grid you set
- A notice strip for news and what needs you, a bot-time bar for the week, and your rank and daily cap in the account band
- Beta channel: Ultimate and ViP members can opt into pre-release builds from the members area
AI assistant beta
In beta - open to Ultimate and ViP members for now, and to everyone later.
- Genesis connector: add Genesis to your own AI assistant (Claude, or anything that takes MCP connectors) and it can read your bots and runs, explain why a session stopped, and queue changes - every one shown to you for approval first
- Ask inside Genesis: a question from the bot editor, the environment editor or the activity log, answered with the same view of your bot, as a Standard or an Advanced question
- Build and repair: describe a bot and the assistant writes it; it can add components and readings to an environment from a screenshot, and repair ones a client update moved
- AI monitoring: before a bot gives up, it can ask whether the run can be saved and try the fix - off by default, one tick per run
- Genesis Plus: the connector and monthly AI credits; top-ups never expire
- Guardrails: the assistant works within Genesis - it cannot quietly replace your measured timing, switch off breaks or add pacing steps without your say-so
Bug Fixes
- Login fixes: passwords with capitals or symbols, the Jagex Launcher, and remembered logins with certain characters
- Target run time stops reliably, and a logout before any break no longer ends the session
- World-item tracking no longer goes stale (clicking an empty rock), and one failed click no longer breaks every click after it
- Bots with more than 128 actions run correctly, and a stray character in a bot file no longer corrupts it
- Fixes to make-X menu aim, duplicate map zones, movement reads on slow machines, and many more
